The first time visiting Dumbo at Brooklyn ny.

Last Sat. morning, Yes Sat. I had to go to Dumbo.
It was for my sister who just married last May.
Yes they need some family pictures for their wedding album.
Thank God it was casual. I went there with mom and brother.
However, I packed a little sketch book, a Varsity pen, a marker and a small pastel set which all could get into my small bag. I wasn't sure I have time to draw because it wasn't for me and I was with my family and in laws. Still I just wanted to pack because Dumbo was very interested place for me.
Dumbo is the area in the Brooklyn, NY. and It placed between 2 beautiful bridges and has a magical New york city as a back drop. It was Water front and there's Brooklyn bridge park and lots vintage arty stuff. Of course, there's lots wedding pictures have been taken at the Dumbo.
Here's my less than 5 minutes drawings. I definitely wanted to go back there.

I was sitting there and looking at Manhattan bridge. I saw a little dot and a square box.  OMG, it was people on the bridge. These people are working hard as they can and earn the living.
EXCUSE ME, CONGRESS AND PRESIDENT. GO BACK TO YOUR WORK AND DO YOUR JOB. AMERICANS DIDNT PAY THE TAX FOR SHOT DOWN. DO NOT WASTE AMERICANS HONEST MONEY.  Stop doing tugs of war.

Prayer Tree

This is a prayer tree. I drew it this summer 2013. You put clothes on the tree with your wish. When the wish came true, you put the bell. For me people wishes many things but God knew what is good for us and grant that wish. However, that will be really good one. I believe that. I hope everyone can put the bell on the tree. I made a tree here to bleed to border so that it continued top and bottom which is that represented communication between God and people. If there's nothing you can do, try to pray! You never know.....

Here is my drawing of The C.W Morgan launching day. People who worked together during the restoration gathered and opened a bottle of Rum and Drank together. That meant Good luck.

AFRICA SAFARI CLUB STAMP COLLECTION 2013

These were the early stage of illustrations I created for my book: AFRICA SAFARI.
I designed a stamps collection out of my watercolor illustrations.

The reason why I tried this is that I met my friend Despina and Greg and their son James today. I found that James loves stickers. So that inspired me to create these art and make it stickers for James and all the children's who would read my upcoming book: AFRICA SAFARI.  I used my end paper design. Just a thought and trying things so that I can figure it out.

Fun of stamping!!!

This is part of my children's book that I am working on.
I cut out form board and stamped it on hand made paper.
It could be a great thing to do with kids.
There's will be a big mess but without mess where's fun???
